Fire burns building at Avista Stadium

SPOKANE — Investigators were searching on Friday for the cause of an early morning fire that destroyed the main concessions building at Avista Stadium in Spokane Valley.

According to the Spokane Valley Fire Department, firefighters launched an aggressive interior attack, but access challenges and a partial collapse of the metal roof forced crews to withdraw and transition to a defensive operation.
