Trump administration wants to hand out $2.4B it took from California's high-speed rail
New program removes any mention of diversity or climate change, and will put a priority on projects in areas with higher birth and marriage rates and that improve railroad crossing safety.

The California High-Speed Rail Authority completed the Avenue 88 Grade Separation last month in the state’s Central Valley with 20 pre-cast concrete girders manufactured by contractor Dragados-Flatiron Joint Venture.
The Trump administration wants to redistribute $2.4 billion it pulled from California's high-speed rail project as part of a new $5 billion program announced Monday to fund rail projects to boost passenger rail traffic nationwide.
