Kate's Pub calls it quits

SEATTLE — It's the end of an era for one popular Wallingford dive bar. After two decades, Kate's Pub, located at 309 N.E. 45th St., is closing.

The owner, Kate Barrett, made the announcement Oct. 1 on social media. The Seattle Times was first to report on it last week.
