Blewett Pass reopens as fire still active

WENATCHEE, Chelan County — Blewett Pass reopened Tuesday in north central Washington, between the junction of U.S. Highway 97/state Route 970 and the intersection of Ingalls Creek Road, south of the U.S. Highway 2/97 Don Senn Memorial Interchange.

The road had been closed since Sept. 21 due to the Labor Mountain Fire, which is still active in the area.
