SIFF departs the Egyptian

The 570-seat Egyptian was part of the Landmark Theatres chain from 1986-2013.

SEATTLE — In November of last year, a burst pipe at 805 E. Pine St. forced SIFF to cease showing movies in the former Masonic Hall, long known as the Egyptian. Seattle Central College owns the century-old building, and repairs have been slow and costly.
