Water breaks cancel Grand Canyon stays

GRAND CANYON VILLAGE, Ariz. (AP) — Overnight accommodations at the Grand Canyon's South Rim won't be available starting Saturday. Crews are addressing multiple breaks in the park's only water line.

The failures have prompted strict conservation measures to preserve limited resources, with this marking just the second time they have had to halt overnight stays.
