Boeing acquires Spirit AeroSystems

CHICAGO (AP) — Boeing has completed its $4.7 billion purchase of Spirit AeroSystems, a key supplier that builds fuselages for its 737 Max jetliners.

The deal announced on Monday brings Boeing's largest supplier of spare parts in-house.
