DANIA BEACH, Fla. (AP) — Spirit Airlines' parent company says it expects to exit Chapter 11 bankruptcy in late spring or early summer after striking a preliminary deal with lenders.
The company on Tuesday said the agreement gives it enough support to finish its restructuring. Spirit says it plans to emerge from the bankruptcy reorganization as a smaller and leaner carrier by shrinking and cutting costs and reshaping its fleet and route network.
