Ferguson set to sign ‘millionaires' tax'

OLYMPIA — Gov. Bob Ferguson said Wednesday he looked forward to signing the “millionaire's tax,” passed this week by the state Legislature after a day-long debate in the House and dozens of proposed amendments to the bill preceded its passage.

The House's amended version of the bill was confirmed Wednesday by the Senate in a 27-21 vote after it debated an additional 11th-hour challenge.
