$240K damage at Chihuly Garden

SEATTLE — A 40-year-old man was able to break into the grounds of the Chihuly Garden and Glass museum at Seattle Center on Monday night and cause over $240,000 worth of damage before being arrested by the Seattle Police Department.

Chihuly Garden and Glass opened in 2012. The museum has two buildings (the Glasshouse and an exhibit hall) surrounded by gardens featuring glass plant sculptures by namesake artist Dale Chihuly.
