Liberty Bank announced the appointment of Jason Ryning to its Board of Directors. Ryning brings more than two decades of legal and strategic expertise in financial services and technology, further strengthening the bank's commitment to sound governance and innovation.
Ryning currently serves as general counsel at Increase, a banking technology infrastructure company. Since joining the company in 2021, he has provided strategic legal guidance supporting the development of modern banking technology solutions.
Prior to Increase, Ryning spent four and a half years at Stripe, where he led the product, commercial, operations and privacy legal teams. His work focused on building and launching compliant financial services products across global regulatory frameworks. Earlier in his career, Ryning spent a decade at Microsoft advising on technology and business matters worldwide.
Ryning holds a degree in international economics from the University of Washington and a Juris Doctor from Gonzaga University.
