New Wenatchee to Portland flight set

WENATCHEE — A new daily passenger flight connecting Wenatchee's Pangborn Memorial Airport with Portland International Airport is set to begin on Oct. 3.

The service, operated by Alaska Airlines through Horizon Air, was made possible through a federal grant extension championed by U.S. Sen. Maria Cantwell, according to an announcement released this week.
