Aid available to flood-hit workers

OLYMPIA — Disaster Unemployment Assistance (DUA) is now available to Washington workers who lost jobs or income due to severe flooding that hit the state in December.

The federally supported program covers employees and self-employed individuals who do not qualify for regular unemployment benefits. The deadline to apply is June 8.
