Mayor Wilson signs deal for Skagit dams

SEATTLE — Last week, Mayor Katie B. Wilson signed a landmark settlement agreement that will guide future operations of the Skagit River Hydroelectric Project.

The agreement, reached after years of negotiations, brings together tribes, government agencies, and community stakeholders to shape a long-term framework for managing the river and its resources. It will be incorporated into Seattle City Light's federal relicensing application.
