Lawmakers look to modernize TSA

WASHINGTON, D.C. (AP) — A House committee has discussed the future of the Transportation Security Administration as the Trump administration lobbies to replace TSA officers with private contractors.

Members of the House Committee on Homeland Security held a hearing on ways to modernize the TSA nearly 25 years after it was created in the wake of the Sept. 11 attacks.
