New firetrucks for Chelan County

CHELAN COUNTY — Chelan County Fire District 6 has received a $1 million federal grant to purchase two fire fighting trucks and associated equipment. The new trucks will help firefighters reduce wildfire response times.

Fire District 6 provides dedicated fire protection and emergency medical services to approximately 7,300 residents across a 45-square-mile coverage area in Washington's Upper Wenatchee Valley.
