Food bank buys Ballard building

By JOURNAL STAFF

SEATTLE — A commercial property at 4810 15th Ave. N.W. recently sold for $2.4 million, according to King County records. The seller was LAH LLC, a Spokane family group that had owned the property for decades and operated its business there: Haight Roofing Co.

The buyer was the nonprofit Ballard Food Bank, which already owns its handsome Graham Baba-designed building just one block east.
