Metro announces new routes

SEATTLE — The DJC reported yesterday on King County Metro's roadmap to 2038 and some of the service improvements the transit authority hopes to make in the coming years to keep up with projected rider demand and expectations.

Some improvements will be made soon. Starting Aug. 29, Metro will significantly expand its services by adding nine new routes and more than 3,000 additional bus trips each week.
