Fare gates coming to a Link station near you

  • Early estimates show the investment could pay for itself within two to three years.

    Current Link stations were designed without entry or exit gates.

    The Sound Transit board gave the nod Thursday to an estimated $87 million pilot program to add fare gates at up to 14 existing Link light rail stations.
