Edmonds Chamber of Commerce

Campbell-Danas

The Edmonds Chamber of Commerce has selected Michael Campbell-Danas as its new president and CEO.

Campbell-Danas brings more than a decade of experience in nonprofit leadership, marketing, fundraising, business development, events and community engagement.

Prior to his current career, Campbell-Danas worked as a professional musician. That experience, combined with his subsequent work in event production, marketing, fundraising, operations and partnership development, gives him a broad understanding of how to create and manage community-focused events from both the organizer and participant perspectives, the organization said.

“I'm looking forward to getting to know our members and partners, learning what they need from their Chamber and finding new ways for us to work together,” Campbell-Danas said. “The opportunity ahead is significant. We can continue building a Chamber that is a strong advocate for local businesses, a connector across the community and a partner in Edmonds' economic and cultural vitality.”

Campbell-Danas succeeds Ryan Crowther, who is leaving the chamber after four years to become chief executive officer of APEX Everett.

The Edmonds Chamber of Commerce will remain focused on advocating for local businesses, strengthening the local economy, and creating opportunities that bring businesses, residents and visitors together.
