Zahilay proposes new labor office

SEATTLE — King County Exec. Girmay Zahilay announced Wednesday he is proposing $500,000 to establish a new Office of Labor Standards within the county.

The funding will be included in the executive's second omnibus budget when it's officially proposed next week.
