Alaska expanding Everett service

EVERETT — Growth is taking off at Paine Field. Alaska Airlines announced yesterday that it will expand service at the Everett airport by 50% starting this fall.

New nonstop services between Everett and San Jose, California, will operate twice daily on Horizon Air starting in the spring. And Alaska plans to expands service to other West Coast destinations, including twice-daily flights to Los Angeles on larger Boeing 737 aircraft, two daily flights to Portland, and more seats heading to San Diego and San Francisco.
