Aviation group meeting Oct. 7

TUMWATER — The state Commercial Aviation Work Group will meet Oct. 7 to continue researching ways to increase Washington's aviation capacity, including expanded use of existing airports and opportunities involving other forms of transportation.

The group is charged with evaluating the state's future commercial aviation and transportation needs. It is not responsible for selecting locations for or building a new airport. The work group submitted its 2025 report to the Legislature in November.
