Six Flags retires X2 roller coaster

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Six Flags Magic Mountain is retiring its famous X2 roller coaster amid lawsuits alleging serious brain injuries caused by the ride.

The Southern California theme park announced Tuesday that it is permanently closing the ride after nearly 20 years.
