One transit system for Snohomish County? Everett Transit may merge with Community Transit

Community Transit would pay Everett $54.5 million, which includes the cost of buses, stations and other facilities and equipment. And Everett would move its $16 million in transit capital reserves to Community Transit.

The city of Everett and Community Transit are considering a proposal to merge transit services in Snohomish County.
