Alaska to add Osaka, Tahiti flights

SEATTLE — Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines are offering new year-round, nonstop service between Seattle and Osaka, Japan, and Papeete, Tahiti.

The new service will be operated by Hawaiian Airlines using Airbus A330 aircraft, offering the only nonstop flights between Seattle and both destinations. Flights to Kansai International Airport (KIX) in Osaka are scheduled to launch in May 2027, operating four times weekly. Service to Faa'a International Airport (PPT) in Papeete will begin in June 2027, running three times weekly and offering same-day connections to neighboring islands such as Bora Bora and Moorea.
