WA, Denmark sign new partnership

SEATTLE — Washington state and Denmark have signed their first formal cooperative agreement, establishing a framework for collaboration on maritime innovation, industrial decarbonization and sustainable economic development.

Gov. Bob Ferguson and Karen Eva Abrahamsen, deputy chief of mission at Denmark's embassy in the United States, signed the memorandum last week, during One Ocean Week in Seattle.
