Seattle voters approve transit measure

SEATTLE — Seattle voters appear to have approved the renewal of the Seattle Transit Measure, with early election results showing more than 72% support as of Wednesday morning.

The measure renews a 0.3% sales tax that city officials say will fund the largest expansion of transit service in Seattle's history.
