Andrew Bergh: Doctor's malpractice defense goes to pot

Evidence of marijuana use might be relevant in a criminal case.

For example, if a defendant testified that the pound of pot under his mattress couldn't possibly be his because he had never smoked weed in his life, the prosecutor could probably impeach him by showing prior use.
