Bridge building gets faster and safer

  • Accelerated Bridge Construction has been compared to building with Legos. Experts say there's less traffic disruption and better safety.

    Washington State Department of Transportation engineers compare it to building with Legos. Commuters call it a way to build bridges without lengthy traffic hassles. Technically, it's called Accelerated Bridge Construction.
