RENTON (AP) -- A Renton man died after falling about 80 feet into a water storage tank being built at a housing development near Petrovitsky Park.
William Larry Ostler, 59, died at the scene, said an investigator for the King County medical examiner's office.
The tank is under construction at Woodside, a 500-home development. Witnesses said Ostler fell late Monday morning from scaffolding inside the tank, according to Fire District 40 Battalion Chief Bob Jensen.
The accident is being investigated by the King County sheriff's office and the state Department of Labor and Industries, which routinely looks into fatal workplace accidents.
