MBA Education Foundation

The Master Builders Education Foundation, part of the Master Builders Association of King and Snohomish Counties, has awarded the Omar Brown Scholarship to two students studying the construction trades. Checks for $2,600 were given to Laurie Scott, a sophomore in carpentry technologies at Columbia Basin College, and Shawn Christopherson, who is in the carpentry program at Seattle Central Community College. The scholarship is named for past MBA president Omar Brown, a proponent of education.
