Milgard Windows

Tacoma's Milgard Windows has named Jim Sweeney president. Sweeney succeeds Gary Milgard, who has been president since 1962. The change becomes effective Sept. 1. Sweeney joined Milgard in 1989 as the general manager of the company's Hollister, Calif., manufacturing facility. In 1991, he became general manager of its Temecula, Calif., facility and in 1995 became the company's southern regional manager. Gary Milgard will remain as the company's chairman and CEO.
