Charlie Oliver has joined Gary Merlino Construction Co. as business development manager to promote the company's private sector business. Oliver has 13 years of civil construction experience, including stints with Balfour Beatty Construction, Granite Construction and Guy F. Atkinson Construction. In the past, Merlino has primarily focused on public works jobs. The company is a division of Merlino Corp., which is the parent of Stoneway Concrete, Stoneway Construction Supply, Stoneway Rock and Recycling, and Kangley Sand and Gravel.
