Westerlund

Seattle's Veca Electric has a new president of its electric and communications divisions. Brian Westerlund was promoted to the position after two years with the company, most recently as director of business development. He still is responsible for marketing, but is now managing the company's 215-person staff. Prior to joining Veca, Westerlund was CEO for Metrocellular, a Seattle-based cellular telephone company. He holds a bachelor's degree from North Park University and completed postgraduate courses at Northwestern University. Thomas Fairbanks, owner of Veca, will remain active within the company as chairman and CEO.
