Express Construction of Mercer Island has hired Matt Baxter and Gayle Roberts as project engineers, and Pat Nickerson as a site superintendent. Baxter works in the tenant improvement division and Roberts is in the shell and core group. Baxter has eight years of experience in the construction and landscaping industry, and holds a bachelor's degree in law and justice from Central Washington University. Roberts holds bachelor's degrees in construction management from the University of Washington and business administration and management from Mesa State College in Colorado. Nickerson has been in the construction industry for 27 years.
