New officers were elected at the West Coast Lumber Inspection Bureau in Portland. They include: Rod Lucas of Action Wood Products in Turner, Ore., president; Tom Parks of Buse Timber & Sales in Everett, vice president; and Mike Anderson of Alder Creek Lumber Co. in Portland, secretary-treasurer. Seven new directors were also elected: Mike Anderson and Jeff Whitener in District 2, Pete Reyneke and John Ferguson in District 6, Maurice Van Hall in District 9, Kurt Schrammel in District 10, and John Konecny as director-at-large. The bureau is a not-for-profit organization that benefits lumber consumers and producers.
