The Master Builders Care Foundation and its local builder captains were recently honored at the San Francisco Gold Nugget Awards ceremony for helping homeless families and teens. The group won three out of four awards in the Building Industry Community Spirit category for its work on three homeless shelters in King and Snohomish counties. The builder captains included Barclay's North of Everett, John Day Homes of North Bend, Kirtley-Cole Associates of Everett, Allen Construction Services of Issaquah, Revisioneers of Issaquah and Shirey Contracting of Issaquah. The foundation is the philanthropic arm of the Master Builders Association of King and Snohomish Counties. The awards program was part of the annual Pacific Coast Builders Conference trade show.
