Issaquah Transit Center will double park-and-ride capacity

Construction is under way on the $29.5 million Issaquah Transit Center at the site of the existing park-and-ride at state Route 900, between and Newport Way Northwest and Northwest Maple Street. The center will include a six-bay island with layover space for up to 10 buses and a four-level parking structure for 800 cars. It will also have loading areas and different types of weather-protected passenger shelters.
