Auburn's Timberland Homes promoted Dave McKim to president and Bill Marr to vice president. Gilbert Wood, former president, remains as chairman but is stepping back from daily operations. McKim joined Timberland Homes in 1976 through the parent company, Timberland Industries. He worked in accounting for four years and then bought the company in partnership with Wood. He holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Washington. Marr joined the company in 2001 and is experienced in real estate sales. Timberland specializes in building customized modular homes primarily for landowners.
