About 30 volunteers from Seattle-based BNBuilders helped renovate two low-income homes last weekend in South Seattle. BNB workers and their families teamed with the African American Elders Program to fix homes of elderly African-Americans. The volunteers replaced dilapidated furnaces, water heaters and dishwashers in an effort to reduce the homeowners' energy bills. BNB was joined by several of its subcontractors, including Holaday-Parks, Prime Electric, Auburn Mechanical, Renu/Nuprecon and WPI.
