Developer Capstone Partners has completed the Korry Electronics Building, a 256,000-square-foot manufacturing complex in Everett.

The building is at 11910 Beverly Park Road and was constructed for Korry Electronics, a division of Esterline. It houses 600 employees.

Korry moved to Everett from South Lake Union.

Esterline is a manufacturing company serving mainly aerospace and defense customers. Korry manufactures controls, panels, switches and indicators, displays and nightshield filters for large airplanes, both commercial and private.

The new complex is near Boeing, one of Esterline's largest customers. Capstone said it is state-of-the-art: lean, green, high-tech, flexible and open.

The project team is pursuing a LEED silver designation. Sustainable features include redevelopment of a contaminated site, reduction of water use by 40 percent and a design that gives all employees access to natural light.

Capstone said production and administrative areas can be reconfigured overnight.

The architect is Craft Architects and the contractor is Foushée & Associates.

Total project costs are $53 million.

The building is a finalist for NAIOP's industrial development of the year and deal of the year.
