Materials Testing & Consulting

The Burlington laboratory of Materials Testing & Consulting gained approval from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to perform tests and inspections on construction projects overseen by the corps. The company's Olympia lab is also qualified to test aggregate, bituminous, concrete, grout, masonry, mortar and soil on corps-administered projects. MTC offers geotechnical engineering, materials testing, special inspections and nondestructive testing services. It has a third office in Bellingham.
