Schlecht/Bergerson JV

The U.S. Coast Guard awarded a regional multiple award construction contract to the joint venture of Schlecht Construction of Kelso and Bergerson Construction of Astoria, Ore. The contract specifies that Schlecht/Bergerson JV may be awarded projects within districts 11 and 13, which encompass Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Arizona, Utah, California, Nevada and Montana. Contracts may include general construction, marine construction, demolition, design-build, renovation and historical restoration. Schlecht/Bergerson was one of 16 companies to qualify for the contracts in districts 11 and 13. The Coast Guard estimates contract awards will total $50 million to $100 million per year for the next five years in the districts.
