Utah's Snowbird wants to build a roller coaster

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort is seeking approval from Salt Lake County to operate a roller coaster during the summer season.

The roller coaster will be built on the slope of Mt. Superior, across the Little Cottonwood Canyon highway from the main resort. It will be built on a trellis up to 13 feet high, depending on the terrain, according to a report by KSL TV.
