Northwest Boring Co.

Woodinville's Northwest Boring Co. won the 2011 Microtunnel Achievement Award from the Colorado School of Mines. The company was cited for its work on the first segment of the Portsmouth Force Main for the city of Portland, where it built more than 1,900 feet of 7-foot-diameter steel casing using microtunneling. Northwest Boring is owned by Donald W. Gonzales.
