Three apprentices from Sheet Metal Workers Local No. 66 in Everett won top honors last week at the annual International Sheet Metal Competition in Las Vegas. Matthew Postma of Everett won first place in the architectural category, Nick Bundy of McCleary won the HVAC category and Casey Wilson-Williams of Gig Harbor was the top competitor in the testing adjusting balancing category. Other categories were industrial/welding and service. A sixth category, detailing, was open to journeymen and apprentices. The event was hosted by the International Training Institute, which supports apprenticeship and career training for union workers in the sheet metal industry. The institute is sponsored by Sheet Metal Worker's International Association and the Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors' National Association.
