AEC firms land $6M in transit contracts

SEATTLE — Sound Transit awarded nearly $5.9 million in on-call work to five architecture, engineering and construction companies last week.

Meng Analysis and HNTB were hired to review construction projects; both deals are for a maximum of $1.7 million. KPFF was hired for $1.5 million to provide architecture and engineering services. Kristen Betty Associates will be paid $1 million for construction management work.
