Regional general contractor Lease Crutcher Lewis hired five and promoted Jim Rose to general superintendent and Grant Howard to project manager in its Seattle office. Rose is overseeing field operations in the Special Projects Division. He has 30 years of construction experience and has been with Lewis since 1995. Howard is as part of Lewis' Holyoke Fine Homes group and has been in construction since 1996. He holds a bachelor's degree from Lawrence University and a certificate in construction management from the University of Washington. New hires are: Robert Nixon, project manager; Mark Boden and Dan Rooney, BIM coordinators; Suzanne Carson, operations assistant; and Josh Van Kirk, project engineer. Nixon has 14 years of construction experience and holds a bachelor's degree from the UW, where he also earned a certificate in construction management. Boden and Rooney were BIM consultants to Lewis prior to being hired. Boden graduated from Lake Washington Institute of Technology. Rooney's construction roots date back 24 years, when he became an ironworker. He holds an associate's degree in architectural graphics from Lake Washington Institute of Technology. Carson has been in construction since 2000. Van Kirk is a LEED AP who has been in construction since 2005. He holds a bachelor's degree in construction management from Washington State University.
