Jeannine Laitres, national trainer at Monroe-based Canyon Creek Cabinet Co., received the CAPS (Certified Aging-In-Place Specialist) designation. The CAPS program was developed by the National Association of Home Builders' Remodelers Council in collaboration with AARP. It focuses on the unique needs of people over the age of 50, addressing the most common barriers in their homes and designing home remodel solutions. Laitres has been with Canyon Creek for more than 13 years and leads the Design Services program.
